   It’s been two and a half months and these are still lighting up every night and lasting a very long time!Even though the sun doesn’t hit the solar panel directly on two of them, it seems they don’t need direct light the entire day. Very pleased about that.They’re a little stiff when you first get them, so you need to bend, separate and spread them out out amongst branches that can hold them apart for awhile (they do relax a bit). Can’t say there’s much swaying going on, but that’s not why we bought them.They look lovely—in fact SO lovely, that during the first week somebody thought they were berries or something, because three or four little lights were chewed off. We didn’t know what was doing it until one day we saw a squirrel in one of our trees chewing on a little white globe! We thought we were done for and that they’d get ruined, but the varmints learned fast that they don’t taste very good.For the price, looks, and great operation, highly recommend!

   I have owned solar lights before that are dim and last a couple of hours. I can’t believe how long these stay nice and bright throughout the night. These are shining as soon as the sun is down and are still going strong when my kids go out for the bus in the morning. I love how they look – I did have to tuck and weave them a bit in my grasses to prevent them from bunching but it look like 5 minutes.I am eager to see if they make it through the cold and snow in the winter. Winter is coming…

   I have bought numerous sets of these lights the past couple of years from different sellers. The effect is pretty but some individual lights last longer than others. In this set, two of the six don’t work after only a month. I will be contacting the seller and will probably not buy more.

   Had to change my rating. I LOVE these so much that I have bought them for family members. However, we have had them for about a year now and now three of them don’t work. 😔 they hold their charge really well (still somewhat lit when I leave for work at 6 am), easy to use and assemble, and look good. Just disappointed in the longevity of them. I don’t know if they failed due to rain or what.

   Simple, well designed, extremely easy to install. Lovely warm light after only first few hours of exposure to sun. The only reason I didn’t give these a 5 star rating is due to the white bulbs contrasting too much with surrounding plants during daylight hours. Would be less obvious if nestled in plants, but difficult to do as solar panel needs exposure.

   I purchased two boxes of these and they are fun to have in the garden. My only complaint is that on one of the stems half of the lights aren’t working now. They worked for a while, but about half of the lights are out after two months and I can’t get them back on. My guess is these don’t last a long time.

    ** (1) Just in case you think your garden lights aren’t working, make sure the switch on the back of the solar panel box is set to ON.** (2) When putting the stakes into the ground be careful because I bent one of the metal poles (they’re pretty thin) while trying to use a rubber mallet to get it into the hard ground. Best to wet the ground first to soften it up and then push in the poles. So now we have 3 straight ones and a 1 that tilts at a slight angle lol.2 years later and all 4 work great and still bright as ever. They definitely need direct sunlight. We had one off to the side with minimal sunlight and while it did light up at night, it was super dim compared to the ones positioned in direct sunlight.During the summer, the lights turn on around 8pm and are still shining very bright even at 3am. Perfect for anyone wanting to light up their walkways for someone coming home late from work or for house guests leaving later in the evening.They survived several bad thunderstorms with hail, 80% humidity, and constant summer heat 90+ F. But during the winter, we remove them and store them in the garage in case they get damaged from extreme cold (it can get to below zero temps with thick ice over here).The white outer coverings of the bulbs are thick plastic so even if the wind is blowing hard and they’re hitting each other, they likely won’t shatter or break.
