I saw reviews that recommended this model. They are probably the best and these are definitely top tier. The app works great, has all the features you need. I have these on a schedule, works great. They are easy to setup, was not frustrating, it worked the first time for each one, unlike some other brands.I feel like sprinkling these all over the house.I recommend connecting these to an isolated network ssid, like a guest network with limited access for security reasons.Highly recommended

Quite a while back, I bought some no-name smart plugs. Tricky to configure, and they lost their settings from time to time, and then a couple just stopped working. But then came the TP-Link product called Kasa. These work. Easy to configure with the phone app, and easy to reconfigure when your network changes. I’ve gone through an entire Wi-Fi redo, so I can attest to the east of reconfiguring! They work with Alexa just fine, as well as with the app that provides on/off for each plus the ability to schedule several on/off sequences, selectable by day or every day.

Bought box of four mini smart plugs over a year ago and used one immediately. No problem connecting and worked seamlessly with Alexa. Extremely satisfied with options including scheduling, keeping track of time in use and other features. But when I tried to use the second one this year, could not connect. No telephone number for support. Spent an hour in chat box with tech support and it was useless. They had no clue as to what the problem was or how to solve it. Somehow, while on hold with tech chat support, it started working. Then tried to connect the third one, repeating everything I did with the second one. Spent several days with no results. Then tried turning off the TP link which is needed to communicate with plug, then turning it back on. Now it worked. Apparently, need to reload that link to cure connectivity problem. Once that was solved I now have three working plugs all doing everything I wanted plus more. It may also be necessary to discconect any vpn on your computer while trying to install this.I strongly prefer the Kasa brand. When it works (which is most of the time), it is very easy to use and provides multitudes of options. I will continue to prefer this brand in the future, notwithstanding that connectivity problem with the plugs.Note: now connected 4th plug, again turning the tp link off and then on again. Everything working.Update: same connectivity problem with Kasa switches. There is a telephone number to call for help but it is buried in dozens of pages of verbiage and fine print. Once I got through I was able to get the switches working as well. Subtracted one star for difficulty in connectivity and difficulty in contacting support, especially the difficulty in finding the support telephone number.

Have tried many timers and these are just the best and well worth the price. I’ve had many issues with other times, especially when it came to power outages and wifi signal loss. Those timers lost connection, lost settings and had to reset them. With these, not one issue. Power or wifi loss and everything is as it should be when restored. App is easy to use and has better options than others. Definitely will be ordering more to replace the old ones.

I bought these to add to the ones I had already and they work in so easy and work great. They were also easy to set up in Alexa and Siri but find Alexa easier to use overall.

I like a lot of people, could not get their plugs to connect to their Wi-Fi network. I even returned a set because I could not get it to connect. On this second batch I decided to try a couple different things. When I plug the device in it is flashing orange and blue as indicated in the app instructions. I noticed it is blinking slow though, so I decided to try and PUSH AND HOLD THE POWER BUTTON and all of a sudden it is blinking quicker between orange and blue. I DID NOT connect to the tp-link Wi-Fi network either as instructed in the app.After making these two adjustments to the steps, everything worked fine and I connected eight plugs within about 3 minutes. I think they should update their instructions somehow so we don’t have to go through this. My app is running on a pixel 9 pro. Just FYI.

It wasn’t until a few months ago that I become fearful of my heating pad malfunctioning. My brother in law sent my husband and I a photo of his melted, singed heating blanket. A coil inside sparked and proceed to burn and melt the blanket. It was a miracle he and his wife were home and caught it in time before the inevitable would have occurred. The blanket was plugged in however, it was not in use or warm to the touch. It was in a “stand by” mode where the light blinks that it’s ready for use but there is no heat setting turned on. Shortly after, my very tech savvy, researched based brother in law found this product and shared the Amazon link with me, as my entire family knows I am obsessed with my heating pad.These plug adapters block the electrical current from the device that is plugged into it. When I am on the road then struck by the sudden thought of … “oh no! did I unplug the heating pad?” or it’s date night and.. “ahh crap..did I unplug my flat iron/curler?” I open the app and can turn the adapters on and off from ANYWHERE. This product brings me such a sense of relief and peace of mind, knowing while I know I have zero control over absolutely every possible scenario or outcome in my life, I can use super smart tools, like these, to minimize as much risk as possible. HIGHLY recommended.
