I needed a short hose to extend the hose coming off my hose reel. The fitting’s on this hose are good quality and it comes with extra gaskets. The material the actual hose is made out of is very light and flexible. I would not characterize this hose as heavy duty but most extension hoses are probably not going to be used in a heavy duty application. This hose should meet the needs for most home applications.

A good short hose connector if you are going to drain your basement dehumidifier into a utility sink or basement sump. Connecting a hose to a dehumidifier means that you don’t have to regularly empty the humidifier catch bucket.
