I have a house built in 1902. I got this to replace the cheap fan installed by the previous owner, and I had to pull chains on whenever I wanted to change the speed, but it only had three speeds. Unfortunately for me, a job that should have taken a couple of hours took days to rectify the old installation and adapt it to the fan’s location next to the joist and the old armored cloth insulated wire. Then, there was a problem with the housing staying flush with the ceiling. I wanted to test the power and rotation before installing the blades and outer housing, but it seems it wouldn’t work without the light. After a herculean effort, I got a fantastic fan with a bright light and an app that allows me to control everything from my phone. Next, I need to set up my Google voice commands. I like this fan enough that I will likely buy another one to replace the old one in my TV room. Great product. They even give you a couple of extra bolts for the fan blades. Very classy company.

My husband and I argued for months. He was convinced that the fan I was looking for didn’t exist.We live in a small 1960s ranch style house with low ceilings. This low profile fan is excellent choice.The Dreo is easy install into existing ceiling light fixture. It has excellent functionality, it’s quiet, moves the air perfectly, and can be set up and controlled using the remote or app.I love this fan so much, I bought a second one.

Besides the short profile (from the ceiling) it is the most quiet fan I’ve had. It’s big enough for a small bedroom like 9x10ft. A couple times I notice it makes some “ball grinding” sound like others have mentioned then it either stops itseff or gone when I change the speed. Most of the time it’s so quiet, no humming sound. I will buy this brand again because of the smart Dreo app. It connects to Alexa so no more worry about losing the remote control. I just set it as turning on and off the fan 4 times a day, 7 days a week for my bedroom and I didn’t have to touch the wall switch ever since. When I need light on, I just say Alexa Turn on Ceiling Fan Light and that is it. Likewise , Alexa turn off Ceiling Fan light. Sometimes I’d reach for the remote to dim or brighter the light but most of the time the Timer schedule I set takes care of my daily light need for the bedroom. The remote is big enough that I can easily find it so this fan deserves a 5 🌟

So this fan was very easy to install, is very quiet and it moves air very well! The remote is easy to use and definitely comes in handy. My only downside is this fan was put in my bedroom. I use the light switch over the remote to turn the light on and off when I enter/exit the room just due to convenience of having the remote next to my bed. HOWEVER, the ‘beeping’ noise the fan makes when you turn the light on by the switch is very loud, long, and obnoxious.. yes you can turn the sound off on the remote and app, but every time you turn the light/fan off by the main switch on the wall it plays the loud obnoxious BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP, regardless. Honestly this fan would be perfect without the loud beep! Would love to install another one of these in my living room, however I won’t until either that setting can be fixed or updated.

Due to multiple heat waves impacting California, we decided to install fan for our dinning area so as avoid using central AC during meals. This fan is has really smart features and runs quiet. Tunable lights is added advantage. We are also saving on electricity costs as its DC motor.

I replaced a 30 year old fan in our bedroom. The only tough part was having to stand on the memory foam mattress and keep my balance. Easy instructions – written and video clip. Blades and LED lights work great, through the entire range of both. Have not hooked it to my phone, as I can control it easily with the included remote.

So far, this ceiling fan is a fantastic value. I bought primarily for its simple design and Alexa integration. It looks and performs great in my bedroom and I will install more of them throughout house. The ability to change the brightness and color temperature is nice. It is silent and at 4 of 12 speeds keeps the room cool.Alexa integration is easy and useful.Update: I bought fans for several rooms and one had issues with dimming. I contacted tech support and they arranged for a replacement which made my purchase decision through this seller even better.

Didn’t realize that the product shipped and in the box did not match the product described in the sales listing or in the manual. The product in the listing shows the CLF513S which has 12 speeds and a 12hr timer. The actual product in the box only has 6 speeds and a max 8hr timer which leads me to believe this is actually the CLF513. Not a super big deal but I paid the extra for the newer option. Even the tag on the unit states CLF513S. Anyways, hopefully the manufacturer will get this sorted. It’s misleading.Installation was easy and so far the unit is working flawlessly.

Easy to install, setup was a piece of cake too. Works well with Alexa; you can also control from the included remote, or the Dreo app. The only ding I give this fan is that there is no collar to cover the mounting plate – so the screws and darker color of the plate show where the fan meets the ceiling (see image).
