I’m super happy with this drill set. The drill itself is of exceptional quality. It’s easy to hold and comfortable in your hands. It works perfectly too. I like that it comes with two batteries so you don’t have to worry about having a dead battery. The carrying case is high quality too. I know this drill will last long as well as any other product from this company makes. It’s easy to see that when you spend a little more you get a better product. I highly recommend it.

Pros: Great drill for around the house projects; DeWalt Customer Service is excellent for warranty replacementsCons: Both batteries (1.5A DCB201) quit on me at different times and wouldn’t accept a charge (as mentioned above, though, DeWalt Customer service was VERY RESPONSIVE and quickly sent me replacements). Drill also had a hard time driving screws all the way into studs — had to rely on my DeWalt impact driver for that a couple times.Bottom line: this was a good deal for the price mostly because it included a 2nd battery and overall a good drill for around the house stuff. Not sure I’d recommend it for work or big projects though because of battery dependability.

My battery died on my other drill and I didn’t show expensive they were to replace! Geesh. Ended up purchasing a new one and glad I selected this DeWalt. It was a great price and comes with a nice bag that you can fit the drill, batteries, and bits in. This seems to be very good quality and was much easier to drill and hang drapery than my last drill. It works great, smooth function, and easy to adjust speed. Also, is feels comfortable to handle this drill. Definitely recommend!

I love the fact that it came with 2 fully-charged batteries. You can drill as slow or as fast as you want to, which is why I bought it. The only negative thing is that it is hard for me to remove the battery from the charger and the drill because I am female, have Dupuytren’s Contracture and osteoarthritis in my hands. Most people probably wouldn’t have this issue. It has a roomy case to keep whatever you need for the drill in it.

This is a replacement for my old Dewalt 14 volt drill that only lasted 20+ years. My only problem with that drill was the cost of replacement batters. that drill never stopped running well. All my Dewalt equipment has more than served me well on the job and at home! I found the smaller size and higher power is nice when you need it, and when you din’t it is still nice to use. If I could give this drill and Dewalt a higher rating I would do so.
