Well you want it like it is here it is. I buy based on this very thing and I usually don’t leave reviews because my complaint or issue is known going into it so I get what I’m paying for and deal with it on me. In this case I’m taking the time which happens about three times a year on a product to leave feedback. This filter unit I’ve had for about 1 hour and I can honestly say l is FANTASTIC. I opened it and was like…wtf it’s a giant towel wrapped filter with Wifi capabilities for 200 plus bucks??? WHAT???Plug it in and let it eat the air and all it has to carry in it. Within minutes of plugging it in you can literally feel the difference in the space. It cleans the air fast and quietly on lower settings and does the whole house within reason after about 45 min. I mean the smell of cooking, pot smoke, pet dander while vacuuming afterwards etc. Machine senses it and goes to work and takes care of it. Great for a small house/apartment/conso as mentioned on specs but it covers this place I’m in great. Again I did buy it knowing this and it’s exceeded all of my expectations. I will return and add to this review once I change the filter see what the power usage will be like on my settings etc. I’m a tough sell but I got this after cooking and smelling chicken parm for three days. Just a fantastic unit it literally senses the pollutants and in the app you can see the levels and it explains each type of PPM which is cool. App is nice and easy use so far. High recommended this product.

I am reviewing the BlueAir 211i Max and 411i Max series in this review as I bought both – one for living room and one for bedroom. Bottom line, these are very impressive units and for the price I am impressed and pleased with each for functionality and effectiveness. I think the aesthetics of it are pleasing as well. It looks nicer than a black box wheezing in your room.Pros for the BlueAir series. very very quiet. On auto maintenance mode – you can’t hear the thing. These are smart machines. You can monitor every aspect of your air quality through the app. You can adjust the control lights from off to bright. It tracks months of air quality data for the room it is in by month, week, day. You can adjust from sleep mode, auto, and 3 fan speeds using the app remotely. It tells you how much filter life is left. It tells you the outside air quality and compares to your inside.Example of its effectiveness; I was sautéing some Italian sausage and onions, the unit detected the particles and immediately went into high mode for about 5 minutes until all the odor was eliminated and then went back to silent. The front LED bar changes from Blue to Green, orange and red depending on the air quality while at the same time adjusting the fan speed to address the corresponding level of air quality indicated. Same thing happened when smoking some meat on the back patio. I left the door open to bring in the food, the unit detected the smoke and the front LED went red. After closing the door, it ran on high mode until the LED indicators began to regress back to blue and the fan speed decreasing accordingly until all the smoke odor was eliminated from the room.Cons for the BlueAir product. It is a bit pricier than other options – but for all the differences – so far, I feel the Blue Air product is definitely worth the price difference, for me at least.What I have not addressed: the longivity of the products; the life of the filter; ease of maintaining; Both of my purchases are within the first month;

This works well, easy to see air quality by indicator light and phone app. I’ve seen it quickly react to candles and cooking. Air smells clean. Easy to set up and use. Repeat buy- I have 3 in different spaces.

Really like this air-purifier. It clears the air very quickly and is quiet. I plan to get a smaller on for my kitchen.

I learned about this air filter on Wirecutter, as I imagine many others have. It works great. There is a LED screen that shows the ppm of particles in the air. I run it on Auto, so it adjusts the output based on how polluted the air is. There is a handy app that tracks air quality and allows you to control the device remotely. It is an attractive design as far as air filters go and non-obtrusive. I like it better than my Coway Cube that I’ve used previously.One important note: on the BlueAir website, they offer filters of varying filtration abilities. So if you want a filter that grabs smaller particles, then I suggest purchasing one of the upgraded filters on the website. They offer a subscription discount also which knocks off a decent percentage. There is a fabric “prefilter” that traps the larger dust particles and dirt/debris. It can be removed and washed. They also offer different color fabric if that’s your thing.These are fairly pricey purchases but I’ve found that they go on sale regularly also. So it may be worth waiting for a sale if you can be patient.

I’ve been using this filter for a couple of weeks. I live in farm country and this year I had very serious allergies requiring serious medical intervention. This filter was an experiment to see if I could create a safe space to hide from the dust and other farm junk in the air. No surprise the filter works quite well. This is more than an anecdotal comment! The filter is smart and I can follow the air quality via cellphone. When the air is within cleanliness limits the fan silently runs circulating air, when it detects a rise in particulates it speeds up. It was interesting to note that it even detects when I’m cooking in the kitchen in the next room, it speeds up and displays the resultant rise in particulates on my phone. No, I wasn’t burning anything nor could I detect smoke of any kind while cooking AND I have a range hood that exhausts outdoors. Pretty impressive IMHO. BTW, I can force the unit to run full fan speed and it’s a bit noisy but it never seems to go that fast on auto.While I haven’t had to replace the HEPA filter yet, I bought spares and the replacement procedure looks like a breeze,

I love this air purifier. It’s easy to use and has been very effective. It works with WiFi but I haven’t had to adjust it since I started using it. The sensor works really well and automatically kicks in when needed.It’s quiet. I also own a cat and noticed the air filter really gets rid of any smells.If you’re looking for an air purifier I would recommend this one.I owned another purifier prior to this one and this one is much more effective.

So far so good, I did quite a bit of research prior to making this purchase. Pros-Easy set up pretty much plug and play. Whisper quiet I rarely hear it on, which implies it does not need to use the highest fan setting to efficiently clean the air. I like the idea of a washable filter I have a Honeywell 50250-s and an AeroMax 290 that are about 6 years old. I needed ones for other rooms, so I added these which are rated higher according to Consumer reports than my older ones, these are Wi-Fi compatible with a smooth easy set up once you download the app, and you can control them with Alexa and Siri I think if that is a feature you like. The app is relatively simple as far as making adjustments, to LED brightness and fan speed. There are 4 speeds, auto and night mode. It gives you the filters status. You can set a schedule. Generally, if you put it in auto, it will adjust according to the rooms needs and the night mode which I really like because it is super quiet and it’s relatively close to my bed, and it has minimal lights. I thought about the Winix 5500, but it was actually rated lower than this by a significant amount and while other reviewers recommended it over the more expensive Coway I thought this was a good meeting in the middle especially during prime day. The Winix runs around $132-$155 while the Coway runs a bit higher about $339 at the time of my review. For prime day this was $199 so your mileage may vary as it typically might price at about $280. As for a comparison with my older purifiers the AeroMax still performs well it requires 2 filters be replaced, while this one has a washable filter and a replacement filter, which are reasonable affordable. With purifiers the gift that keeps giving is the filter replacement. I hope to one day find an affordable washable filter that I never have to replace, but for the companies where is the fun in that. If you are looking for a highly rated air purifier this would be my choice. For a bedroom the large seems too large, but mine does not have to work as hard to clear the air. My Honeywell is totally manual, so it’s outdated compared to these and it’s pretty loud on its lowest setting so we run it on high at night downstairs, while we can easily run these all day and night without really noticing. My AeroMax is more automated and automatically adjusts for its changing environment and has an indicator light that adjusts according to the cleanliness of the air.

I put this in my living room, which recently had a flood, and the air quality was disastrous. I could feel it in my lungs!We set this up and turned it on. Once the app was set up (took barely a few minutes), I saw just how bad it was. In what felt like 10 minutes (probably closer to an hour) my air quality was way better. We set up a routine to put it in night mode at night (sometimes I end up down here at night so I wanted it to be quiet just in case) and auto mode during the day. Auto mode works so well! I’m impressed that it runs truly as needed. I’ve “spot checked” it a bunch of times.While pricey, it has more than paid for itself in less than a week!

I have purchased two of these and overall I like them. It was a little challenging to register the product. I first tried on their website which didn’t work right but it allowed me on the app that I had downloaded onto my phone. The units work well and are fairly easy to set up. It works through the app as well as from the unit. Mostly I use the console on the unit if I want to change anything. It doesn’t look difficult to change the filters. The inside one is a little pricey if you want the more hypoallergenic filter. However filters seen to last around six months. The controls are easy to use. The hardest thing was to adjust the dimming of the light which was a little tricky before I got it. It is not clear whether to run it on the automatic setting or use the fan for faster air exchange. I find the information offered not that detailed. I have taken to running in on the “2 fan blade” setting (low medium?). My only complaint is about running them on the two higher setting. In both one has a mild “buzzing sound that won’t go away. And the other has a mild vibration such as fan bladed not being quite balanced. But since it doesn’t really seem necessary to run at the higher speeds, it is not a big issue. At the lower setting it is quiet. Being large they are somewhat unwieldy to move around and as such I bought roller caddy’s like for large plants which work well. Lastly
