I found 2 gallon sprayers at my local hardware store and a discount tool warehouse. This one came in between the other ones I found in price. I feel the quality in the thickness of materials. Very durable. The spray is uniform and easy to control. I have dedicated sprayers for insecticide and herbicides. Bought this one for nontoxic needs, like carpet shampoo or natural bug repellent for the organic garden. This is a very good sprayer.

This is a great sprayer. It’s very easy to assemble and use, and the spray is accurate and precise. The only drawback is that it is heavy. I think the heaviness is because it’s solid and well-built, but when it was full, my husband had to pick it up for me.

I bought this specifically because it was cheap. And 1 gallon. I just needed a cheap, lightweight sprayer to spray bleach in my showers for mildew control and around the inside upper lip of my toilet bowls (where it is impossible to scrub really well with a brush.) For that purpose it has worked extremely well. I read another review that stated you can’t use bleach with this model because it might cause some valve to fail. Well, bleach most definitely will degrade plastic and rubber parts. (I found out that putting bleach in my toilet tank and letting it sit for long periods is not good for the rubber gaskets in there. They will fail, cause your tank to “run” and need to be replaced. I also had a gasket in my sink drain fail because I poured full strength bleach down it periodically and let it sit a long time. I don’t do that anymore.) So I expect this will fail at some point, but so far so good. I personally can’t find anything here or in the instructions that say it won’t hold up for use with bleach, but honestly nothing with a rubber gasket will survive bleach for long in my experience. It was extremely easy to assemble, even without reading the directions. But it does come with a set of them and it’s probably wisest to use them.Just do be aware that there is no way to release pressure except to bleed it off through the nozzle. In my case, no big deal, but if you are using something poisonous you need to be aware of that and that you will probably still get some of the mixture on yourself after that when unscrewing the top.For the price, it’s an excellent product. Just don’t expect it to act like an expensive sprayer when you aren’t even paying $20.

I bought this for a specific type of bug killer that I didn’t want in my other sprayers so I didn’t want to spend a lot of money. This does the job perfectly, from stream to spray, it dials up a great dispersement.

This Chapin 2 Gallon Lawn & Garden and Home Project Sprayer works well. In my opinion, you can’t have too many sprayers around; I have this one and a Chapin 4 gallon backpack sprayer for bigger jobs. I use this one for pesticides, one for pesticides and the larger one for the lawn. It has a powerful and variable spray, adjustable by turning the nozzle head. I used it today and was pleased with its performance. And is small enough to carry around. As with all of my sprayers, I wish the quantity markings on the side were in bold black. Instead, all are marked with same color lines as the sprayer and hard to read. I use a sharpie to mark the gallon and 2 gallon lines so they’re easy to see.

I bought this to use for ‘clean up’ for my grandsons. I pick them up at the beach after their camp mornings, during the summer. The beach they use does not have showers readily available. I fill this with water and leave it in the back of my SUV. When I pick up the boys, I put it on spray setting, pump it a little bit and rinse them off! It works like magic. It’s very easy to use and it does not leak! I highly recommend it if you’re in a beach community and you don’t have access to showers!

We use these containers to spray bleach solution, insecticides, Roundup, all manner of nasty things that would likely compromise a cheap Zepp spray bottle. Pumping up the air pressure is easy until it is not, at which point it is ready to do business (don’t forget to lock the handle). After years of using typical manual spray heads on products such as Roundup, leading to cramped hands and getting leaked on, the wand and yard of feeder tube of this unit is a joy. I’ve used it with Windex for cleaning windows that are out of reach or otherwise hard to negotiate with the Windex bottle. And just this year we got the bright idea to mix up Miracle Grow in it for application to the garden plants.

So, I worry about applying strong chemicals on my cats BUT I buy this stuff to get rid of bugs/fleas in my house.SO, what I do is one of two things.I used to take some and put it in my shampooer but it doesn’t penetrate carpets well and its hard to measure since it’s not a gallon container on the shampooer. So I bought the Chapin 22000 Made in USA Value Pack of 2 Units, 1 Gallon Lawn and Garden Pump Pressured Sprayer, for Spraying Plants, Garden Watering, Lawns, Weeds and Pests, Translucent WhiteReturn or replace items: Eligible I spray the screens in my house, all the flooring and carpets, furniture and pet areas.I give my cats a bath in Dawn and keep them in the bathroom. Meanwhile, while they are locked in the bathroom with food, water, toys and blankets I know are free of fleas because they just came out the dryer. They stay there until it all dries. Then after a few hours I let them out.I don’t vacuum or clean it up until the next day. By then after monitoring the cats to see how itchy they are I can tell if I got all if not most of the fleas. It normally works in one shot. I still worry since the dip is still on items even though they are dry but so far, so good. I have been doing this for a few years now.The shampooer is limited to just the flooring. So it doesn’t always work and I have to use a spray bottle for the rest of the areas.I use the other for washing my car in the garage with waterless car products. Non of my storage gets wet and my car looks amazing all the time. Saves me so much money than going to the car wash all the time.Soo I love this set! I can use it in many ways! Thank you

So I was informed by a handyman that I could use a sprayer and a mixture of concentrated bleach and water to get rid of the green stuff on the side of my home (cement siding), and eliminate the need for a pressure washer, which has no regard for the siding, and can actually damage it overtime. I opted to find a good rated sprayer on Amazon, and I was on my way.It arrived in good condition; no damage to any components. The directions were somewhat helpful, as I’ve never used one of these pump-action sprayers before. However, they were not streamlined. I spent more time looking at the ‘manual’ and guessing which one I ordered to make sure there were no missing components (wand extension, etc. etc.). =/ However, when I finished reading the instructions and assembling it, things got better. The opening for the container is wide and good for a spill-proof encounter. Also, there are markings on the side telling you how much of what you’ve used. Of course, I needed to make sure I was using the correct amount of all liquids suggested (total of 4 liters, which is equivalent to 1 gallon… 3.785). I went for a heavily stained surface (per the bleach instructions), and I’m glad I did.Key points I learned were the following:1). When you’re using the mist function, you don’t have to pump as often (it tells you to pump until you can’t anymore, essentially, but for me, average was between 12-15, depending on the amount of liquid remaining in the container. Less liquid=more pumps; up to 20+ at times). When I used the streaming function, I had to pump more frequently (obviously because more liquid was being discharged)2). When you’re releasing remaining pressure from the chamber after most of the fluid has been used, and it’s time for a refill, do so ever so gently… that exhaust could get ALL over your beautiful face… or explode if not done appropriately! LOL! It’s not a fizzle… it’s a booming FFFFSSSZZZZHHH!!!! But it doesn’t go upward if done right… it’s going outward. Phew. =)As for the statement the handyman made, he was right! This stuff helped me get rid of ALL of the green stuff growing on the side of my home. I just followed the instructions provided, and I was truly pleased. Nothing like a neat house. Also, I have a one-story home, but the ceiling is arched, and definitely the height of a two-story home. This thing got the mixture ALL THE WAY to the highest point of my home!! No ladder or nothing?! YO!! I couldn’t believe it!! I mean it truly blew me away! I set it on stream, of course. I did it just by rotating the nozzle clockwise (facing away from me, just like a regular handheld spray bottle), pumped the crap out of the container, making sure to never stand over the container while doing so, pressed the handle on the wand, and voila! No more Incredible Hulk!! I did follow up with a water hose and rinsed the siding… it’s just so nice. As for the container, I added water and a little soap to flush the lines prior to storage as recommended, though I’m assuming they’ll stand the test of time.I had an overall great experience with this container. Oh! And I’m glad I didn’t need the extension wand. When I pull it out again, I’m sure it’ll not disappoint. 5 Stars. Hoping this review helps you in making your purchase. I guess we all like it when things go right for a daggone change. (= Have a wonderful day!Z.

There’s one model below this one for a few bucks cheaper and I had trouble finding a model better that seemed reasonably priced above this one, so I settled for this as my first ever sprayer. I had no issues putting it together like other reviewers did but I think there is a definite possibility that some units may not be 100% based on this is really an entry model and probably not made for constant use or years of service. Some of the plastic materials reflect that.My tasks were to spray pesticide and lawn/garden products but I’ve found it useful for more.* The wand feels cheapish like you’d expect on something disposable as you do when buying RTS (ready to spray) bottles.* The container on the other hand seems pretty durable and made from quality plastic. It really baffles me that people complained about leaving pressurized liquid in the container and it failed. If you leave it full in your hot shed or garage then that’s really your fault since the instructions are pretty clear that you should always depressurize and it is highly recommended not to leave any solution in it.* The pump, the pump action, the container sealing, the handle locking and the handle to hold while using it are all integrated and so you have 1 fail point for all those tasks. I expect something to fail or break at some point and I could not find where to purchase a replacement for it for when it does. The handle can easily become unlocked so when you go to pick it up the handle pulls out. The locking mechanism seems to just be a friction tab or something that will wear away.* There is no pressure relief valve which many others stated and it is a feature you will want, especially if you are making several gallons during your treatments as each time need to open the container you must let all the pressure out by spraying the hose until the liquid or air stops. An empty container will still be pressurized so you have to blow the air out first then you unscrew the pump/seal. If it is still pressurized you are going to get sprayed in the face as the air/solution leaves the chamber.* The unit doesn’t come with any accessories such as a spray shield which would be just an extra piece of plastic over the nozzle to keep your spray where you want it. For being such a critical part of what you likely want the sprayer to do, it should be included.* They tell you to oil the pump occasionally but don’t give you any or really direct beyond that what to buy to do that with. I don’t want oil contaminating solutions. There is no diagram for where to even put the oil. Why not silicone or similar lubricants?* I plan to use bleach for an outdoor application and even maybe a monthly spray down of the showers/bathrooms but it is expressly incompatible with this unit. The problem is something to do with the seals in the pump reacting with bleach and so I have on order the bleach specific model. It’s a confusing mess to figure out if you simply bought the bleach one will it also serve all your other needs or not so now I’m going to have 2 of these things to store and deal with. Why you simply can’t purchase the bleach pump and swap it out for the standard pump based on your application seems like this company wants to bleed you slowly.* Extra things I’ve used it for are simple plant waterings so I don’t have lug my 100′ hose over the hard to reach shrubs. Fill a gallon of water and walk over and you get a perfect mobile watering station. Also some of these house plants like being misted and you can get a good fine mist while sparing your carpel tunnel. Toss a little Miracle Grow in the tank and fertilizing is better sprayed in than poured in.In all, this is handy and will be durable enough. It is missing features and the lack of replacement parts or interfunctionality with other products makes think I may have been better off with another brand or paying way up for the more expensive models. There’s just something wrong with a product that is easier and cheaper to replace than to fix.
